Hi Liz,
No matter what state you are in, you always have the right to appeal your case. It would help your case if you took a picture of the sign the day you received your ticket. You can still take a picture of the sign and bring it with you to court. How the judge will determine your case is never guaranteed, but you can definitely appeal.

I used to live in Cleveland Tennessee and I don’t know the laws here I got in NY September 5th and the 7th I got my first ticket because I never saw the sign about cleaning the road. Can I appeal? Since the sign was twisted to the other side of the road meaning the sign was 180 degrees twisted in the sidewalk.
