In reply to Bri. Hi Bri! It may be hard to fight the ticket. If the officer shows up to court for your case, it is his/her word against your word. You can call the court however, and ask them if they will not point points on your record if you admit guilt, pay the fee and also submit a defensive driving completion certificate. This way, you can at least avoid having the points added to your driving record. -Deborah

Was at a redight. Call came on. I picked up my phone to pass it to passenger in vehicle with me. Light changed…police pulled me over told me i was using cell. Advised officer i was actually handing cell to passenger, who had it in his hand when they approached the car. Told officer i also had the phone on my hand At the light anyway. Rrcvd a ticket…how do i fight this. Never had ANY poinys ever against my licence

My last violation is OUTSIDE of the 18mo window… NY sticks me with a $375 Assesment…!

In reply to Raul. Hi Raul! There are a few reasons why your points were not removed: 1. It can take up to 8 weeks from the date you complete your PIRP course for the NY DMV to remove the points. 2. Points may be reduced only once in any 18-month period. 3. "Point reduction" means the DMV will not count up to four points on your driving record toward license revocation or suspension. You may have to have close to 12 points on your record before the DMV reduces your point total.

I was in my car front of building to pick passenger i mean nighclub
I have all proof i was park my car on safe locationand i was inside in my car and customers cop came and gv me double parking ticket i took picture which was wring ticket officer said fight with that ticket i already gv u what should i do i hv pics of parking as well
